K-12 Projects

At the NABV, we believe that the key to developing and sustaining a large population of Black veterinarians is to invest in our youth.

Over the next year we will be launching several K-12 projects geared toward fostering interest in animal science through exposure.

The Jr. NABV, which targets students 9th-12th grade, will also serve as an avenue for ongoing mentorship, academic support, and summer job opportunities.

NABV members who are interested in assisting in our youth outreach efforts are encouraged to send us a message via our “Contact Us” form.

Community Partners

The NABV welcomes the opportunity to partner with businesses, community organizations, and individuals who share our passion for increasing the number of Blacks within the field of veterinary medicine. If you are interested in inviting us to participate in your event or to collaborate on a project, please send us a message via our “Contact Us” form.
